System of a Down (CD)

Described by Kerrang as a "thrilling mix of Middle Eastern folk and Sepultura-style bludgeon," System of a Down's members are of Armenian descent, raised in Southern California. The band has built a hard-core following that originated in L.A. and has been massively developing nationally and internationally based on reviews of their live shows, on-line communication (over 10 fan-driven web sites are on the internet) and general word-of-mouth.
